Origin story

BackstoryNyo is from Underworld and his father is one of several powerful Demon Kings. Nyo is rebellious and does not take interest in ruling and doesn’t want to follow in his footsteps. With his father was so focused on training him for that and his mother being a popular succubus that was never around, he never really understood feelings besides lust or chaos. Nyo was also a disappointment because he is a pacifist and his ideal version of chaos is being a trickster, not the terrible tasks his father would force him to do. His father treated him poorly due to this and eventually he runs away. During his travels alone in Hell he meets someone shady that promises him an escape from his current reality.He accepts blindly without hesitation and winds up in Lakeland with his demonic powers severely weakened as a very small miqo’te with horns. Not knowing how to react or where to go, he wanders around for a bit and becomes a very valuable escort at Eulmore. Nyo feeds on sexual energy and sexual tension. His underworld has a moon cycle and every 3 days Hell’s blood moon sends him into heat where he is extra rambunctious and horned up and it affects him wherever he wanders to. Prior to becoming an escort he traveled around The First completely alone and afraid after his first experience with his curse. He is cursed with corrupted aether and if he sleeps he’ll burst into demonic frenzies and kill. His pacifistic instincts cause bits of him to crystalize and react to the corrupted aether that burns through him if he harms anything or anyone.Unless the blood moon is out, he’s annoying and tired. He has paid willing adventurers gil to restrain him and watch him so he can sleep without harming others, but it’s too expensive to do it as often as he’d like. His curse renders him useless in combat and he only works once every few days to satisfy his blood moon cravings so he’s not very wealthy. He also chugs coffee at pubs to keep himself awake and has ran places dry.His chest and left shoulder are slightly crystalized. It glows when he’s having a demonic reaction to something and indicates how much control he has over himself. He has sharp claws and large fangs and can be very feral at times. He doesn’t know how to express his feelings well at all and gets flustered very easily when trying to. His sleep deprivation causes him to be extremely clumsy as well. When he’s chugging coffee at pubs he’s also scouting for stronger adventurers that could allow him to sleep for the night, or allow him to feed on their sexual energy if there is a blood moon.Thancred paid Nyo a lot at Eulmore, nearly every blood moon for awhile. Eventually Thancred gets the idea to introduce him to Urianger to try to save gil. Urianger agreed reluctantly to have Nyo as a pupil. Nyo is to learn how to convert his corrupted aether into astrologian healing magick because offensive spells would trigger the curse and crystalize him more. Urianger only accepted Nyo because he wants to prevent potential demonic outbursts that could cause a lot of death. Nyo’s a shit student, and he’s not the best healer. It drains him too much. Thancred uses Urianger’s lessons as a way to get out of having to pay Nyo for sex. Thancred has a love for Nyo that he can't understand. Nyo is learning more offensive magicks at the cost of his health.Nyo being a kind-hearted demon, he wants to test his boundaries as an astrologian and usually goes for high rank hunts with other bounty hunters if he can’t find anyone to seduce for gil. He has a small reputation for being a crazy sex demon so some bounty hunters will help him, but only if he puts out. He primarily focuses on illusion/healing magick but has a few cards up his sleeve at the cost of furthering his crystallization.
